What is this course about
This course is designed for startup accelerator managers, responsible for the program: for the efficiency and results of participants. The course was created based on our own experience in designing and leading startup programs for the last 5 years, and based on dozens of interviews with program managers across the globe.

We believe that you, as a program manager, might feel a lack of tools and methods to influence founders and the results of their startups. Most of the accelerators count on entrepreneurs-in-residence or niche experts, hoping the strong founder will find the answer on his own. But the truth is that we don't what we don't know. And founders try to fix what they see might be fixed, even though the real point of growth is somewhere else.

This course is structured based on a growth coaching methodology, which will help you to work with the business goals and strategy of founders, to help them to identify constraints, and quickly tests hypotheses to overcome them. Based on a diagnostic you can help founders to understand their business situation and to help them make data-driven and mindful decisions on what exactly they have to do, and what to focus on to achieve the result.

Diagnostic session of the startup
The diagnostic session is the starting point where you help the founder to identify the key constraints and to form a strategy on how to overcome them. You will go through the basic tools of growth coaching: goal-setting approaches, customer development chain to be able to help them with the right action plan.

Designing the HADI cycle

Startups have to discover the uncertainty of the market through hypotheses and sprints. The HADI cycle is an efficient tool to structure these activities.
In addition, we will touch on the ICE, the RICE methods, and the goal-oriented sales framework.

How the growth coaching weekly sessions look like

What does the session with the startup team look like - framework, time frame, and main tools of growth coaching. Separately we will discuss how growth coaching session looks like in acceleration programs and outside of the program, for example as an alumni support program.

You will learn what UNIT economics is, how to design and calculate it, and how to use it as a valuable source of product hypotheses.
